Working With Kevin Irons of SCS, Creative Coatings were asked to help with the coating of a Bar Front for Zizzi restaurant. The premises was a Bar front that looked like part of an Aged shipping Container. The Bar front was manufactured from MDF. When it arrived, the bar front was primed, and whilst still in Primer, it was textured. Once cured the primer was flatted for Verometal Liquid Iron to be applied. Whilst the iron was being applied it was also textured. Once cured, the entire bar front was lightly polished, and Verometal Green Patina was applied. A number of coats of patina were required to achieve the rusted finish that was required. Once dry, a protective Matt lacquer was applied to finish the project.
