Eleanor Cardozo

Eleanor Cardozo is a world-renowned Artist. Best known for her Gymnasts. The gymnasts have had pride of place all over the world, including at T5 Heathrow. Creative Coatings were approached by a third party to help with some Chroming work and spray colours. The manufacturer of the globe had used an old colour for the gold, that Creative Coatings were able to Match. The Gymnast sculptures were primed and coated in the ‘gold’ colour. Once this was fully cured the area of the leotard and shoes where masked out to become Chrome. (Unfortunately, Creative Coatings are unable to offer Chrome as a solution at this point.) Both of these Lovely sculptures went on display at Westminster Abbey in 2012 for a display celebrating the Olympics.

Creative Coatings have continued to work with Eleanor Cardozo on other Gymnasts, including the coating of a globe. The globe is a 3D version of the FIG, the International Gymnastics Federation. This has gone to Switzerland to be place in the hand of one of the Gymnasts.
